AC vs AC Inverter Welding and Fine Wire Compacting

November 2020

AC welding is a traditional welding technology that draws electricity directly from the wall, making it susceptible to line voltage fluctuations. AC inverter technology, however, maintains the ability to switch the polarity, and, because the source is now rectified, eliminates fluctuations in current resulting in improved weld quality for many applications. The similarities in technology make it easy to upgrade to an AC inverter power supply to access this additional control without disrupting the rest of your manufacturing setup

This webinar is geared toward process engineers, R&D engineers and operators with some resistance welding / wire compacting experience.
