Miyachi Unitek to Exhibit at 2012 DOD Symposium & Exhibition
November 12, 2012
The LMF3500 offers 35 watts (W) of power at the workpiece, with 21 kilowatts (kW) peak power, 1.3 megajoules (mJ) pulse energy, and a flat top power profile. Ideal for deep engraving, the LMF3500 can mark up to and beyond 0.02-inches deep on steels, aluminum, copper, brass, graphite, and tool steels. It is frequently used to replace lamp-pumped Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) 50-100W systems, which can experience significant repair downtime, chiller expenses and shortage of parts.
Applications engineers will be available at the booth to discuss using the latest fiber laser marking systems, as well as other applications such as welding, cutting, and micro machining for defense industry maintenance and repair. For more information on Miyachi Unitek's fiber laser marker technology for the defense market, please visit Booth #532 at the DoD Maintenance Symposium & Exhibition.
